Elizabeth Bennet ran down the stairs of the Darcys' London home with a lightness that belied her thirty-five years.
I'll admit it . . . I'm a sucker for Pride and Prejudice continuation stories. The original ended too danged abruptly. I wanted a chance to see Lizzie and Darcy be happy together.
This is my sixth Amanda Grange book, so I'm anticipating a good story. I even liked Mr. Darcy, Vampyre. It was quite sweet.
The only thing I might change with the opening line here is that Elizabeth's lightness of step belied her being the mom of six children. Yep, she and Darcy are the proud parents of a half dozen little Darcys. Oh, the troubles one can only imagine!
