I read 'What I Saw and How Lied' by Judy Blundell and liked it a lot, because it was so different from most stories I've read. That's something I value in a book.
'Strings Attached' is looking to be the same type of story. The setting is New York in 1950. In the first chapter we have mystery, love, betrayal, a favor owed, dysfunctional families and Broadway. Can't get much better than that.
I'm listening to the audio version, narrated by Emma Galvin. Her voice is keeping me on edge, eagerly anticipating what will happen next. I can only hope I'll be as enthralled all the way through.
