I'm waiting for holds to come in for Soulless and Strings Attached from the library. I should get them within a week or two.
Anybody interested in a buddy read? I have started a thread for each in The ConneXion Zone group for anyone who'd like to read with me.
Soulless is Steampunk and described as: The first book of the Parasol Protectorate series: a comedy of manners set in Victorian London, full of werewolves, vampires, dirigibles, and tea-drinking.
I've only read one steampunk and wasn't thrilled, but this one sounds like fun and I've read good things about it.
I read What I Saw and How I Lied by Judy Blundell awhile back. It's YA and a really different story. I was excited to see the author has a new book out, Strings Attached, that also sounds quite out of the ordinary. I'm hoping it will be as good as What I Saw was.
I would love to have someone (or two or three!) to read along with me.
